Since 2005, ACME has become the leader in English camp for Korean students aged between 10-15 and based in Seoul, Korea, ACME provide English camps in UK, NZ, USA, and Malaysia and we are looking for ESL teachers for our Winter camp in Malaysia.
We have two camps on offer; one runs from 6th Jan to 2nd Feb and another from 7th Jan to 27th Jan. We have very limited spaces in either camp or given the teachers are of equal quality, teachers who are already in Asia will be given a priority due to our budget on flight. As we conduct our activities in Singapore, teachers are welcome to tag along for a free ride to Singapore. Activity days are on Wed and Sun, which is your rest days, so you are more than welcome to join us if you are not too tired.
Dates
• - Jan 6th, 2023, ~ Feb 2nd, 2023 (4 weeks) or Jan 7th, 2023 ~ Jan 27th (3 weeks)
Location
• Johor Bahru in Malaysia (10min distance to the border)
• Teaching at New York hotel
• We go on Singapore excursions at least 3 times
• 5 working days per week. Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri, Sat. (May change during the camp)
INSTRUCTOR BENEFITS
• 2.0 million won for 4 weeks and 1.5 million won for 3 weeks.
• Flight reimbursement up to $500 USD
• We will provide air-conditioned room (twin-shared)
• We will provide lunch on working days
INSTRUCTOR WORKING HOURS
• 8 teaching hours per day, between 8am to 5.30pm
• Teaching maximum 8 students per class
NSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATIONS
• Hold a valid passport from native-English speaking countries including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United States, or the United Kingdom, South Africa etc.
• Hold undergraduate diploma or higher from listed countries above and ESL related certificate.
• Positive, energetic outlook and demeanor.
• Formal EFL teaching experience with Junior learners.
• Genuine love for children is MOST REQUIRED
