Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit provided me with a working knowledge of the different tests that many of my students may be preparing for. I have, in fact, already worked with a student who was preparing for the TOEFL exam, so I did have some knowledge of the workings of this particular external examination. I found the most useful part of this lesson to be the information about the other external examinations. This unit discussed the proper selection and use of materials and books in a EFL course. This included the pros and cons of course book use and different strategies for adopting a book to the specific needs of a class, as well as different types of supplemental materials and ideas for their use. Finally, it outlined the various aspects a teacher should consider when selecting a coursebook.
