Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covers the various ways in which the present tense is used and the ways in which the present tense can be confusing to English learners. It is important to be aware of the errors and mistakes students often make in order to be prepared to address such errors and mistakes and to clear up confusion in advance. Getting students involved in exercises will help them to understand verb tense. This unit covered teaching and course materials. Thankfully, we have been introduced to many different materials that we can create and use in a classroom environment, so this was very much an integrative unit. The overall thrust of the unit reminded us to think in terms of ESA, regardless of how we choose to deploy it, so that we're able to identify and use appropriate materials for our classes.
