This lesson was much harder to digest and to be quite honest, down right confusing and boring. It was probably because I was confused that I was bored with the lesson. I did find the lesson enlightening though as it allowed me to learn things about phonetics that I had never known. I still don't understand phonetic script but I think I'll be able to live, even if I never learn it.In this particular unit, I learned a lot about the various subtleties of the English language. For example, I learned about the difference between the active and the passive voice, and how the active voice has more color and action than the passive. I also received the chance to be able to tell the various differences between words like may, might, must, should, could, would, etc.
