Date posted:2009-12-09 | Writer: Coach English | Email: [email protected]

Coach English Abroad is the recruitment program of OptimalEnglish, a company dedicated to improving its client's English expression through memorable learning experiences. We employ a proprietary learning system that assumes most global executives understand a lot more English than they speak. The objective is to accelerate the client's verbal expression by initially working on self-confidence, intonation, pronunciation, and the linguistic structures of most business interactions. The second phase of the system concentrates on the key grammatical structures that can assure a flawless delivery.

We coach our clients on one-on-one sessions as well as teams of up to seven clients. We work at our clients' companies mostly in morning, mid-day and late afternoon hours.
We are located in Caracas and work at Fortune 1000 companies as well as leading local companies.

Coaches hired through Coach English are guaranteed payment for a minimum of 96 academic hours per month or 24 academic hours per week (academic hours are 45 minutes long). This amounts to a competitive compensation package per month. All coaches should expect compensation for additional hours. We believe the monthly minimum is sufficient to pay for a room with a family and cover all necessities, on a tight budget. Coaches hired through Coach English are also entitled to a five-day accommodation allowance designed to ease your transition into the country. Additionally, those recruited through Coach English are entitled to Spanish language classes.

Company:
OptimalEnglish is a small but growing start-up company with a deep commitment to the power of English as the global language of knowledge and communications. The original founders coach clients on different occasions, and all are involved in different aspects of the company's operations.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit introduced me to the various types of assessments that ESL teachers can use to evaluate students before and during class and ultimately help students progress and develop their English ability person-by-person. It also elaborated upon the various types of external examinations that are used to test English skills for non-native speakers beside TOEFL, such as TOEIC, Cambridge Assessments, BEC, etc. This unit focuses on the future tenses. Unlike the units for present and past tenses, which each had four structures, the future tense unit covered the seven most common structures. The first four followed the pattern of the past and present. As like the pattern with past and present, each structure was presented with the form, usage, common mistakes, and ideas for activities to be used in an ESA lesson.
