Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This very interesting chapter are described class dynamics. As though the teachers position is explained and how he can use his body (voice, eye contact, body language) as a tool to manage the class. Also the disposition of students and chairs as well as grouping them in larger or smaller groups influence the class. In the latter part of the chapter problem solving solutions are given. This unit has summarized the basic phases that make up a successful ESL lesson which are the Engage, Study and Activate phase. I learnt that in order to make the ESL lesson more dynamic, unpredictable and interesting, the teacher needs to adopt different teaching styles from the straight arrow though the boomerang to the patchwork ESA sequencing during different sessions of ESL lessons.
