Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit talks about teaching different types of groups such as beginners, individual students, young learners, business English students, monolingual and multilingual classes. For all the mentioned kinds of groups the unit shows suitable activities, methodologies and techniques, possible problems, motivation and things to be considered in order to make lessons enjoyable and useful. While other units provide what is it we should be teaching, this unit tells us ways to approach teaching material such as vocabulary and grammar. I believe this unit taught me there will need to be a bit of 'getting to know' the students before an appropriate/effective approach to vocab and grammar can be constructed, as it depends a lot of how appropriate it is for the student body.
