Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Past tense is easier that present tense because you can link what you have learnt from the present tense with the past tense. It is quite interesting to come across the rules of the English language in this course again. One must be very sure of what to do when teaching the types of tenses as mistakes can often happen, and once a mistake it taught to the learners they will remember it.This unit taught me about speaking and writing. I learned that when we focus on both speaking and writing in the classroom, it's good to give clear instructions and give the students plenty of time to think before expecting results. We should allow it to be more about the process and not the product. Fluency and accuracy are equally important. We need to know when to focus on each one.
