Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Covered in this unit are effective techniques concerning classroom management. Everything from the teachers position, to managing time spent with the teachers back turned to the class impacts the learning experience. This unit discussed the several different aspects of group work and how it impacts behavior among the students. Finally, this unit discussed the many techniques that allow one to build a rapport within the classroom. From this unit I learnt how to analyse specific parts of the speech. The ability to distinguish every word of a sentence by knowing its grammatical root helps to build goodwill and rapport between the teacher and the students. This unit represents the foundation of all future grammar and needs to be deeply absorbed in order to convey the right basis to the class. Everybody should speak the same type of language during the lesson.
