Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit sixteen was a grammar lesson on conditionals and how we report speech. The conditionals include the zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional, and the mixed conditional. Furthermore the use and importance of verb tenses in relation to how we report speech was covered. I also learned about teaching ideas and exercises such as Intermediaries, Reporting verbs, and Media interviews. This unit taught \"conditionals\" and when it is appropriate to use certain tenses when reporting. Reporting is essentially just a second hand account of other information. This unit was difficult for me despite being a native English speaker because it is something I have never given much thought to when speaking. I can see how this information could be difficult to teach so it is good to have a unit devoted to it.
