Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

unit 15 deals with testing- assessment-evaluation, giving a more detailed information on typical reasons for teachers to evaluate their students, types of assestments- Diagnostic test, Progress test, External exam, Placement also comments on other various exams such as ESOL, TOEFL, PET, FCE, CPE etc, as well as the people and levels of english language for which these are designed. It is always important to know at what point your students are. So that is why for me as a teacher very useful to know different evaluation and testing methods. Also some students may want to be prepared for the external exams and the teacher should know the better way to help with this goal. So this Unit gave us a short but important information about what kind of tests we may use and when.
