Lincoln English Center in Los Reyes Michoacán has a vacancy for a TEFL qualified teacher who is available to start immediately. We offer a minimum six month contract teaching 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Students’ levels vary between basic, intermediate and advanced (children, teenagers and adults).

We offer accommodation and a negotiable salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

Requirements:

TEFL, TESOL certificate and up accepted

Experience teaching English and some Spanish is necessary (Spanish is not necessary for now)

Must arrive in México with teaching documents from your country

To teach a new language, there is always certain kind of complexity on it. First of all, the introduction of new vocabulary. Especially to beginners. How to present them with pictures, and avoid to teach them abstract words. While grammar, and language functions have to be taught by matching with certain real-life situations. It is important to engage and activate the lessons as much as possible.I am actually excited to take this course. I love children most of the time. I experienced teaching kids when I was in college and doing my on the job training. I experienced teaching preparatory , elementary , high school and college students. During this time I found out that I enjoy teaching children more. I hope I would learn a lot from this course as to how to deal and handle young learners.
