Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Thank you for this closing unit, it outlines many possibilities and how to avoid problems in the classroom. It sums up an extensive amount of units which I think covers all of the basics to begin to learn to teach TESOL. I think when you start teaching this will be very important for when you come across problems in the real-world, I think speaking to your supervisors would also be very helpful. This unit was all about past tense grammar and how to classify and use it properly. It covered past simple tense, past perfect tense, past continuous tense, and combinations thereof. This is especially useful for teaching English as a second language because even native speakers can struggle to explain these simple grammatical structures at times unless they study them as language learners do.
