Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I have learned the methodology in teaching English to Speakers of other languages. I have learned many different methods and I have come to the conclusion that that using Engage-Study-Activate (ESA) method is one of the best. I have learned the different activities needed at each stage of an ESL lesson. I have also learned that it is necessary to make an ESL lesson unpredictable.I learned a lot about reported speech and conditionals. I learned that there are four types of conditionals in English but that you can also create mixed conditionals using segments from several of the different other conditionals. In reported speech things generally move into the perfect tense if they are already in the past, or switch into their respective past form if they were not already.
