Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit explained the grammatical aspects of speech with cogency. It allowed me to review what I learned in grade school, with the notable exception that having read it now, I feel prepared to use this information in a dialogue with a student. I had entirely forgotten the functionality of gerunds. My recall ability of the distinction between past participles and auxiliary verbs was limited prior to my reading of the chapter content.I understand the importance of being culturally aware of do's and don'ts when teaching in foreign countries. Its vital to be aware so as to not embarrass students and yourself, also to show respect to the people and the country you are teaching in. I am volunteering firstly in India, then I would like to get a paid position somewhere else in Asia. The information in this unit will be very helpful when applying for a teaching position.
