Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 7 covered material regarding what to be mindful of when choosing what vocabulary, grammar, and functions to teach and implement in classes. It is nice to learn about these points and receive applicable suggestions for classroom activities. I had never thought about what the specific lesson structures that I had used in past classes were called, but I can see the benefit of each arrangement depending on the situation.Reading and listening skills re important in learning a new language. It is a must to have wide range of vocabulary to completely understand something that is written or spoken. Pre-teaching difficult words is a good way to help the students understand better. Topics that will boost the interest of the students are necessary but if the topic is uninteresting the teacher should be able to find a way to engage the students.
