TEFL Job in Slovakia

Date posted:2015-09-10 | Writer: Sidas Language School | Email: [email protected]

Sidas Language School is currently seeking talented and creative teachers to join our team of EFL teachers in our ACTIVE ENGLISH WEEKS program. This is a position that involves a lot of travelling around so it is best suited for those with a taste for adventure and sight-seeing.

We are looking for people who can start immediately and teach up until the end of June 2016. Due to the intense travelling nature of the position shorter term applications are welcome. The position involves teaching children and young adults, on special week long educationally enjoyable courses which typically run from Monday to Friday. Usually the teaching begins in the morning and is finished by about 13:30. Most weekends teachers move to a new town and a new group of students.

Given that the working day is normally done by 13:30 this position suits those who like long afternoon walks, are still studying, enjoy reading or watching endless amounts of films, are aspiring writers or artists, or simply like to have a siesta every afternoon.

If you are able and willing to work with a wide age range of children, to see a lot of one, two, three or more countries in a short space of time, to overcome different challenges every week, to develop as a teacher and to make many new friends and have a thoroughly good time then Sidas is for you.

Qualifications:

In an ideal world a degree and a TEFL qualification, but in our real world we will consider anyone who shows a genuine interest. Training is provided before and during the working period.

Salary and Benefits:

A very good salary by local standards, and free accommodation during the working week.

So if you are interested in learning more with a view to joining our team, just contact us at the email address given on the job heading and we will take it from there.

Best wishes to everyone,

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covers the basic principles of lesson planning. The reason why teachers plan their lessons, what to include in the planning process, as well as how to produce a lesson plan that is practical and easy to use in the classroom. I am a novice English teacher therefore, knowing the principle to create a well structed lesson plan is very important to me to delever the lesson effectively.Future tenses rely o n many of the same rules as past and present tenses in that they are often decided by which words accompany the verb that is being done. For example, the future continuous uses the will + be + verb rule and the future perfect uses the will + have + verb rule. Each way of expressing the tense depends on what the context is, whether its a spontaneous decision, for example.
