Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered the present tense forms, usages, and examples of each. In school, from what I can recall, only covered three tenses. So when I took a few college English courses this was new territory for me. I had forgotten most of this as time went on, not really needing to use this knowledge. This unit explained each of the additional present forms quite nicely, which made it easy for me to learn. This unit dealt with utilizing a course book, created materials, and authentic materials to create a balanced class. I have always disliked the laziness of a course book driven class, but was nervous about creating every lesson from scratch. It is good to learn that the course book can be used as a foundation in which to build upon while creating specifically targeted lessons depending on the situation.
