Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This was a very short unit, but relevant. I have a better understanding of what tools are used in class, and their advantages and disadvantages. I understand that a good teacher will use whatever tools necessary. For instance, if there is an irrelevant section the coursebook, the teacher will supplement it with something else. I also liked the example materials like crossword puzzles and the like.Unit 5 underlines some important skills a teacher needs for a good classroom management.I understood that such skills range over a friendly behaviour, relaxed manners and a consistent attitude to maintain discipline. I also learnt about the pros and cons of the different ways of grouping students in classroom activities, how to establish rapport and class spirit and how to prevent behaviour problems.
