New Learning Academy is looking for motivated EFL teachers who are available for an immediate start. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, to teach on our campus in San José and onsite.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF STUDENTS YOU WILL BE TEACHING AND HOW YOU WILL PREPARE FOR THAT CLASS. AS A TEACHER YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT LEARNERS ARE DIFFERENT IN A SENSE THAT THE ARE LEARNERS WHO CAN UNDERSTAND THE LESSON QUICKER AND THERE ARE THOSE LEARNERS WHO A VERY SLOW, SO YOU NEED TO BE PATIENT WITH THOSE LEARNERS AND PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THEM AND NOT TO IGNORE THEM.In unit 2, I learnt that no teacher is expected to be a walking grammar reference book and know absolutely everything. I also learnt about the various parts of speech, their differences and their usage in constructing sentences. I can identify parts of speech in sentences. Also, unit 2 made me to understand what articles do in sentences and the use of conjunctions to connect two sentences.
