Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 11 provides an explanation of the skills expected of an English teacher. There are four skills under two categories. The receptive skills are reading and listening. The productive skills are speaking and writing. All are equally important but are used for different purposes. One use is for purpose such as learning a new recipe. Another is for entertainment such as reading a text. From this lesson, I learned different types of classes, there are teaching beginners, teaching individual students, teaching children, ESP, the monolingual and the multilingual class. For each type, there are different techniques, teaching different type using different method, because they have different need. especially for teaching individual students. I learned a lot of activities.
