Oxbridge Corporate Services (Brazil) has opportunities for TEFL qualified teachers who are available to start in June, July, or January. The jobs are in private language schools in the city of Jundiai (40 miles from São Paulo city).

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Hourly rate: R$20,00 (twenty Brazilian reals)

Accommodation – private bedroom in shared house near the school. Other types of accommodation are unavailable due to the bureaucracy involved in renting your own place. Please apply only if you agree with this kind of accommodation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Native or native-like speaker of English, since you will be teaching advanced levels

TEFL/ TESOL qualifications preferred.

Minimum age: 21

Also interesting to think about the advantage of one on one verses a group class as well as a monolingual class verses a multilingual.In Unit 7: Teaching New Language, I was introduced to the four pillars of class structure. The first is exposure to the language, what is its meaning, understanding its construction, and its practice and production. More specifically, I learned about how to design a lesson on grammar, vocabulary, and functions. I was shown vocabulary and grammar activities to exercise in the classroom.
