TEFL Videos - Ask Linda How To Pronounce "belated"
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
In unit 4, I learned about materials available for use in the classroom and how these materials can be put into our lesson planning. There are authentic and non authentic materials and I learned how they are distinguished. Also I learned why I should create a lesson plan, what should be in a lesson plan, and how to use a lesson plan. Futhermore, this unit covered book resources, using the Internet, and classroom management. This chapter help understand better in how to use authentic materials into the lesson plan. Items such as magazines, newspaper, current videos are \"real life\" examples in how language can be used in the real world. This gives the class an opportunity to deal with items of the real world which can make the lesson more dynamic and interesting to young learners. The Engage-Study-Activate lesson plan is such a useful teaching aid to ensure that as an instructor that activities planned are focused on the language point.
