TEFL Videos - Assure vs Insure vs Ensure | Ask Linda! | English Grammar
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
Unit 3 is about course development. This unit also has a lot of information which is useful to teaching young learners. I learned how to development a course, which includes level testing, needs analysis, and limiting factors that affect the content of a syllabus. I learned how to design a syllabus and how to assess students by using various tests, such as diagnostic, placement, aptitude, achievement, proficiency, and progress testing. This unit was interesting and easily understood. Good definition of authentic and non-authentic materials, I understand that is good to have a support from a non authentic book course but use authentic material as magazines can bring to the students more motivation. The second part, the lesson plan was also good to remember , the task sheet exercise 4 was good example to how can I be more creative.
