ENGLISH TEACHERS COMMITTED TO PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Posts for teachers committed to professional development, including those who are intending to do the DELTA. Weekly training seminars and regular observations provided, also free in-service training courses: DELTA preparation, IH Certificate in Teaching ElÃs, IH Foundation course in Teaching English for Business, IH Language Awareness Course. 50% DELTA subsidy for teachers who undertake to stay with the school for one academic year after the course.
Teaching may include adult and YL general English, exam preparation groups, business English. 23 clock hours per week, Sat-Sun or Sun-Mon weekend, no teaching outside a 12-hour band.
Salary - Basic 360 Lats + depending on qualifications and experience.
Accommodation, visa and healthcare paid for by the school in addition to salary. Travel subsidy of 30 GBP per contractual month (= 270 GBP for 9-month contact).
24 days' paid holiday including public holidays.
Overall start date: 6th September 2004 (for induction)
Teaching start date: 10th September 2004
Teaching end date: early-June 2005
CELTA or Trinity Cert. TESOL.
Minimum one academic year's teaching experience.
Commitment to professional development.
