LESSON PLANNINGIn order for teacher to be effective, he/she has to control the way time is used. Effective teachers systematically and carefully plan their time for much productive use. Effective teaching?s key aspect is to have a plan of what is going to happen in the class room. lesson planning involves much more than making arbitrary decisions about "what I'm going to teach today." Planning would involve setting realistic goals, decisions of how required and supplemental materials and also developing activities. Before starting planning a lesson it is good to set up lesson goals. Lesson goals would determine of what students will have done and accomplished by the end of the lesson. In order to set lesson goals we need to identify: ? Topic for the lesson. Most of the topics usually already determined by textbooks or curriculum, but also it would great for teacher to choose topic by students? interest or developing some authentic materials. ? Linguistic content - vocabulary, grammar, language use. Usually it is also determined by curriculum. ? Communication tasks.
