There are a number of things a teacher can do to make these kinds of decisions as well as a number of things a teacher can do to prevent these kinds of problems from occurring. From the beginning a teacher should be aware of the rules and regulations of the school. When a teacher knows what the school expects of the students, he or she should feel more confident in their disciplinary actions. A teacher should be clear with the students about what he/she expects of them. They should also be clear on what will happen if the students do not follow the rules.
