"They're", "their" and "there" are three words that are often used incorrectly. "They're" is simply the contracted form of "they are". "Their" is a possessive and indicates ownership of something. "There" indicates a place. Due to the Internet and instant messaging, the three words have been icreasingly used incorrectly. However, if you'd like to use them correctly, you should keep their meanings in mind. When trying to decide which word to use remember that "they're" = they are, "their" = ownership and "there" = place.

This last unit provides really helpful advice and activities to build rapport with the students, boost their confidence and encourage them to participate.Unit 11 introduces four basic skills in any language but focuses primarily on the receptive skills of reading and listening. Techniques and activity ideas are included. A key concept I learned from this unit is students should be encouraged to try to understand written texts even if they don't know every word. This enables them to gain more confidence in their receptive skills.
