  With the exception of the last module, all modules require roughly 16 hours of study - 175 hours overall. The last module is a research-based thesis, which generally requires 75 hours to finish. Therefore, you can expect to spend about 250 hours to complete the course.

  Our Diploma TEFL course will give you a firm grasp of a wide variety of teaching topics from learning theories to material design.

  The research-oriented element of the course can be completed via internet resources, though you may have to sometimes use additional reference sources.

Assessment without Tutor Support

This option employs nearly the same format as the course with tutor with the following exception: You will still receive the task sheet with each module, but will not submit them to a tutor. Rather, you can use them to monitor your own progress.

The course will be divided into two sections--once you have completed the sixth module, you can download the test for that section. After successfully taking the test, you repeat the process for modules 7 - 11 and again take a test for the second section. A research thesis is still required, just as in the "with tutor" option.

  • be able to finish all the course content and projects within one full year.
